About the Team

Our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team is re-inventing the way consumers think about grocery, convenience, alcohol and retail delivery through both our first-party and third-party operations businesses. DashMart is our first-party offering which serves as a fulfillment platform for DoorDash customers when they need essential items in a hurry – including groceries, household essentials, local favorites and so much more. We have sites all over the country and are expanding the selection we carry and services we offer our customers today!

About the Role

We are hiring two Associates to join the DashMart Strategy & Operations organization, focused on building processes, tools, and analytical reporting to maximize the accuracy and efficiency of our DashMart Operations. You will be a key driver in forecasting, analyzing, and optimizing systems that support our suite offerings across DashMarts.

Depending on the role you align best with, you might work on projects like improving our supply chain forecasting and reducing waste to building operational processes that improve and automate how we stock our DashMarts. You will work cross functionally across others on strategy & operations, finance, local operations, product, engineering and others!

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own. You’ll have full responsibility over a sub-metric, driving day-to-day execution and longer-term approaches to improve.
  • Strategize. You’ll work from fundamentals to develop the strategy that best serves DashMart customers.
  • Build. You’ll build technical tooling and processes to enable data-driven decisions on inventory purchasing.
  • Analyze. You’ll use SQL to understand trends and find gaps that can be solved to get 1% better every day.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You’re excited by ambiguous problems. You bring passion and creativity to building new processes.
  • You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're also able to connect the details to the bigger picture.
  • You love data. You use data to resolve arguments, and you're comfortable modeling in Excel and SQL and have experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, etc.). Proficiency in SQL is preferred.
  • You have 1-3+ years of experience. You have experience in industries like consulting, manufacturing, retail, tech, or other relevant spaces!
