Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple companies
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying trends and variances
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and regulatory filings
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects for the leadership team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction services industry
  • Experience with owner financial reporting
