Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer care by responding to inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists.
• Assist with prescription processing, including refills, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications.
• Resolve issues related to medication orders, dosage instructions, and delivery timelines.
• Utilize pharmacy software to accurately manage patient records and prescription details.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations regarding the handling of prescription medications.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active and valid Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, terminology, and medications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a remote work environment.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure, distraction-free workspace.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a pharmacy technician or clinical customer care role.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and insurance processes.
